Dr. Alecia Rodriguez

Ph.D., MFT, MHC, CCTP

Dr. Alecia Rodriguez specializes in therapy with children, adolescents, couples, and families. She utilizes a strengths-based, person-centered approach to help support individuals on their personal journeys. She has worked as a mental health provider in school-based, outpatient, and residential treatment settings.

Dr. Rodriguez holds a Doctoral degree in Philosophy and a Master’s degree in Counseling with specializations in Clinical Mental Health and Marital, Couples and Family Therapy. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Sexology.

Dr. Rodriguez is a certified clinical trauma professional, certified sex offender therapist, certified in conflict resolution, and certified in women & gender studies. She has training in child abuse and neglect, child welfare, and resilience in children exposed to trauma.

Dr. Rodriguez works with at-risk youth, groups, and community partners throughout the state of Florida. She is a recipient of notable awards such as South Florida’s 40 Under 40 in recognition and acknowledgement of making a mark in business while shaping our community’s future, the USA President’s Volunteer Service Award in recognition of substantial hours of service, and the National Panhellenic Council Sister of Service Award in recognition of dedication and efforts to empower women at Florida International University, just to name a few.
