Dr. Stacie Herrera

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Stacie Herrera is a licensed school psychologist and owner of Herrera Psychology. A doctorate in school psychology has provided Dr. Herrera with advanced training in the assessment of an individual’s learning and coping abilities. Her training has given her the knowledge and ability to work within the school system, providing support to students in the environment in which they spend a majority of their time. In addition, Dr. Herrera completed postdoctoral hours under a clinical psychologist to further her scope of competency.  Dr. Herrera also owns Telement, a company partnering with schools to provide in-school virtual therapy support for at-risk students via telehealth.

As a mother of four college-age children, she is very familiar with supporting loved ones through stressful moments and navigating the stages of development. She takes pride in understanding the parent and student perspective.

Dr. Herrera has spoken nationally on topics related to gifted students and globally on how to engage neurodivergent learners. She is an active member of the Genius School U.S. non-profit board, as well as a member of the Genius School Global community which promotes programs to ignite the inner-genius in every child. Dr. Herrera is also the owner of Ida, our company Therapy dog.
